  • How long does the process to receive dental implants, the abutments, and crowns take?"
This varies by each individual situation. Some patients may need extractions, grafts, or sinus lifts in order to prepare the bone for dental implant placement. (See services offered on our website to learn more about theses service). If there is extractions, grafts, or sinus lifts needed this will take on average an extra 4 to 6 months. This can be longer depending on the patient. After the doctor agrees that you are ready for dental implant placement, you will be scheduled for implant surgery. After the implants are placed, it will take on average 4 to 6 months for the implants to integrate with your bone. After they are integrated, the doctors will scan or take an impression and send to the lab for your final restoration to be made. After this step, it will take around two weeks to receive the restoration back from the lab and have it delivered. There may be extra visits to ensure that the shade and bite are correct and approved by you.
